My friend and I were thinking today about the best foods we've ever eaten, and we got onto the subjects of cookies (because we're hungry girls, it was inevitable) and realized that our own MIDDLE SCHOOL had the best cookies we'd ever eaten!
A bit about our middle school:
IT SUCKED.
The cookies, however, looking exactly like the one above, did not. I doubt they were made fresh there, but they tasted it. I knew how to time it to get a batch right out of the oven, and I would attack. They were just undercooked enough to be gooey, but not to be gross (like the ones at the high school, which are either super undercooked or crunchy...). We'd break them in half and the chocolate would still be attached to the other side and it would just ooooooooozee............ Since then, I've been searching for the perfect chocolate chip cookie, but haven't found it... :(
