Je "TIAM"

Falafel* // Pita Bread w/ Hummus // Fries w/ Saffron Aioli from Tiam Mobile

---

Don't judge a book by it's cover, the same goes for food. I know what you're thinking. GREEN BALL!? Do not be deceived by this piece of deep fried falafel* - it is delicious.

My mum & I came across this delicious little Middle Eastern vendor, Tiam, by chance. We were strolling along High Line in New York, an abandoned old railway that has been transformed into a nature paradise (a must visit for anyone!) & felt like we needed a food boost. As we came down the stairs back to ground level, Tiam was just parked there, as if waiting for us.

Following the falafel starter, there was the wheat pita bread accompanied by a beautifully presented hummus.

The french fries with Saffron oil (more like viscous sauce) was a nice sider to boot.

* falafel |fəˈläfəl| (also felafel)
